DCHS Football Philosophy

Douglas County High School football will develop and grow individuals that show integrity, display exceptional character and are willing to compete both on and off the field of play.
Players and coaches will successfully communicate and collaborate in order to develop and
implement game plans each and every week. Team members will attend every team function
with the expectation that they bring a positive ATTITUDE, COMPETE in everything they do, and
give maximum EFFORT and display TOUGHNESS for themselves, their team, their school and
their community.

Booster Club

The intent of our booster clubs is to promote, provide support, and encourage our athletes
during their participation in the Huskie Football Program. The booster club is needed to help
raise the funds necessary to provide our coaches and players with the resources needed to be
a competitive force within the league, as well as helping our kids experience the best that high
school athletics has to offer. The club should be committed to providing a quality program that
encompasses the total development of our student athletes. The club accomplishes these goals through the continuing support of our community and the parents, friends and relatives of Huskie players and coaches.

As parents of players involved in the football program, you are a part of the booster club.

Parent participation can vary from:
• Attending games
• Helping with various events and fundraisers
• Taking pictures
• Attending Booster meetings
• Being an active part of the booster organization and board

It is the desire of the football program that as many parents as possible join and contribute in
some way to our booster club.
